Meet Drew Bignall, owner of Mission Crossfit in San Antonio, TX! He's been a Bulldog Scrubber owner for the past few years, and wanted to let us know how his machine has been helping him keep his gym safe and ready for a smooth re-opening.

"We love our machine! We use it 3x week over our entire facility (12,000 sf) to keep our floors clean. Anytime we have any spots we need to hit otherwise, I’ll bring it out and clean real quick. We know we are keeping our floors very clean based on what come out of the machine afterwards! The first time we cleaned with the machine after switching from a cleaning crew was like night and day. We couldn’t believe the difference and thought to ourselves why didn’t we do this sooner. It’s the best purchase we’ve ever made to keep our facility top notch. Having it for over 4 years now, we wish we had bought it when we first opened 10 years ago.
More Effective Than a Mop & Bucket
We used to have a cleaning crew that we paid to come in three times a week to mop the floors and clean other things, we let them go in order to get the bulldog, it was the best decision we ever made. We payed the bulldog off in just seven months based on what we were paying the cleaning crew. Now, we rehired the cleaning crew back after a big remodel for our bathrooms and offices, and they take care of those; and they also use our bulldog on the floor each time they come. We’re paying 1/3 the price we used to, have a cleaner gym, and own the machine now.
Gym Cleaning Protocols
We have been meticulous in our cleaning since the first day we opened 10 years ago. We will continuing doing what we’ve always done to keep our gym safe and clean for our staff and members:
- clean bathrooms 3x a day
- members wipe down all equipment down before and after
- use the floor machine 3x week
- cleaning crew cleans 2x week
- we have a company called DisInFx spray an anti-microbial spray over the entire gym quarterly that protects the entire facility

Reopening the Gym During COVID-19
We will be adding:
- must wash hands upon entry and exit and/or anytime you feel the need
- bring a gym bag with your gear, leave nothing at the gym
- bring your workout shoes with you, versus wearing them in
- limiting class sizes for now
